Pharmacological group: Proteins and amino acids. Metabolic regulator.
Description: Taurine is a natural amino acid, which promotes growth processes. It is necessary for normal development of nervous system, retina and muscles. Taurine plays an important role in the bile production, which is necessary for normal digestion and fat exchange. It promotes the action of insulin, regulates the water-salt metabolism, has a diuretic action, regulates intracellular calcium levels, prevents coronary heart disease, prevents the aggregation of thrombocytes, decreases the risk of thrombus, decreases the constriction of blood vessels, releases the sympathic nervous system, normalizes the level of glucose in the blood.
Indications:
- Retinal dystrophy, pigmentary degeneration of the retina
- Cataract, macular degeneration of the retina, diabetic retinopathy, high-level myopia
- Prevention of fatty liver disease, cystic fibrosis (combined therapy)
- Cholelithiasis (combined therapy)
- Diabetes mellitus (combined therapy)
- Hypertension (combined therapy)
- Heart failure (combined therapy)
- Convulsions and epileptic seizure (combined therapy)
- Treatment and prevention of alcoholism and narcomania in rehabilitation period (combined therapy)
Administration during pregnancy and breast feeding: During pregnancy and breast-feeding use only under the physician's prescription.
Contraindications: Hypersensibility to components.
Adverse effects: May cause allergic reactions.
Dosage and administration: 1-2 tablets 2-3 times daily, 30 minutes before meal. Only for oral use.
Overdose: Not noted. It is not toxic.
Storage: Store in a dark, dry place at room temperature, KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Shelf life: 3 years.
